In de Telegraaf van 20 juni j.l. heeft Hans Böhm de Gebruikers activiteit van de CSVN besproken. Voor het artikel, tussen de artikelen van de andere kranten, zie de website Schaaksite.nl. Ondertussen heeft Hans ook nog over het WK geschreven in de editie van 2 augustus, welke ook op Schaaksite.nl is na te lezen.
De data voor de najaarsactiviteit van de CSVN is al weer vastgelegd evenals de locatie. De najaarsactiviteit (programmeurstoernooi en gebruikerstoernooi) zullen op 17/18 oktober 2015 plaatsvinden te Leiden in het Denksportcentrum (Robijnstraat 4). The dates and location for the autumn activities of the CSVN are known: on 17/18 October 2015 these will take place in Leiden at the Denksportcentrum (Robijnstraat 4). The 48th Programmer Tournament has been won by The Baron, by Richard Pijl, receiving the Theo van der Storm cup. Second place was for Arasan, by Jon Dart. Both had 5 points from 7 games. The Buchholz and Sonnenborn-Berger already told the small difference between the programs, but for these situations in the past a special rule in Swiss tournaments for less then 14 participants was created: see http://www.csvn.nl/index.php/nieuws/18-vereniging/306-tie-breaker. 13 juni 2015 De CSVN organiseert op zaterdag 13 juni een speciale editie van het gebruikerstoernooi. Net voor de deadline van dit nummer van Computerschaak zijn de details daarvan tot stand gekomen. Het bestuur heeft afstemming gezocht bij een aantal leden van de vaste kern van het gebruikerstoernooi en daarbij hebben we ingezoomd op een drietal uitvoeringen.
