[Nederlandse versie hier] The CSVN organises on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May its Spring Activities. For the 46th time a Programmers Tournament will be held (over both days). Next to this there will be the traditional User Tournament for chess computers on Saturday. And on Sunday the first Open Engine Tournament will be held. More information can be found below. Daarnaast zal ook op de zaterdag het traditionele Gebruikerstoernooi worden gehouden. En op de zondag wordt geprobeerd het Open Engine toernooi opnieuw te organiseren. After 7 rounds with 12 participants, Jonny was the strongest program and came on top with half a point more than the runners-up. Although Shredder and Deep Fritz shared the same amount, Buchholz appointed Shredder the second place and Deep Fritz 3rd. The best Dutch program was Rookie, which came in the overall ranking on the fourth place. The complete final ranking can be found on this website, click on PT45.
The last round has started. A bit early, but nobody complains. The last round pairings seem a bit strange, but they are ok from the pairing point of view. 12 participants is a border case for swiss pairings where the last rounds sometimes funny or unrealistic results. Round 6 has started half an hour early. Board 5 is giving issues for the live broadcast, so that is left out. Due to draws on the top boards, Jonny is still leading half a point. Photo’s and played games will be added after the tournament due to some issues. [Live Games] [Ranking, Pairing]
Round 5 has started a little bit early. In between the rounds we have tried to fix the issues with the live transmission of board 5, but it seems not solvable for the moment. The difference between the leaders has not changed because of the draw. Shredder catched up, but now plays against Deep Fritz for second place. [Live games] [Results, ranking]
Round 4 is about to start. Games will be live again. Major issues with interference in the game Fridolin-Rookie, it seems that Rookie’s computer is the cause but we cannot move this anymore at this moment. This round will probably see the match between the number one and two of the tournament: Deep Fritz vs. Jonny. Jonny leads with a half point. Op zaterdag 30 november 2013 heeft 27e Gebruikerstoernooi plaatsgevonden. Er waren 12 deelnemers, die elk een schaakcomputer met een maximale rating van 1700 elo hadden. Vanaf 10 uur ’s ochtends tot het einde van de middag hebben de deelnemers partijen tegen elkaar gespeeld. Onder de deelnemers waren dit keer ook Duitsers, welke door de contacten met toernooien in Duitsland (o.a. Kaufbeuren) uitgenodigd waren om een keer in het CSVN gebruikerstoernooi te spelen.
