PT53 Round 1
The first round started a little earlier then planned. Furthermore as we have 10 participants, we decided to play 9 rounds of 30 minutes plus 15 seconds per move. The first round has started. We decided to go for 9 rounds instead of 7 as this lets everybody play everybody, which gives all 10 players play each other once. Time control changed to 40 minutes + 15 seconds per move. Najaarsevent: 11/12 november 2017
Op 11 en 12 november 2017 zal het Najaarsevent worden gehouden in Leiden, in het Leids Denksportcentrum. Zoals gewoonlijk zullen we het programmeurstoernooi en gebruikerstoernooi houden. Meer informatie volgt zo snel mogelijk. On 11 and 12 November 2017 the Autumn Event will be held in Leiden, in the Leids Denksportcentrum. As usual there will be a programmers tournament and a user tournament. More information will follow as soon as possible.

The pairing: Nemeton – Hiarcs 0-1 Komodo – The Baron 1-0 Arminius – Spartacus 1-0 Embla – The King 0-1 This round have started on Sunday 30 April 2017 at approx. 14:00. With one leader, Komodo, 5 out of 5, followed by Hiarcs with half a point less and The Baron with 1 point behind the leader. The Baron loses after an unequal fight, although the game seemed a long time equal.

Spring Activities 2017, Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30
The CSVN organises on Saturday April 29 and Sunday April 30 its spring activities. For the 51st time a Programmers Tournament will be held (over both days). Next to this there will be the traditional User Tournament for chess computers on Saturday. Before it all starts, the yearly general meeting will be held. On Sunday a computer draughts tournament will be held. The location for the tournaments will be “Leids Denksportcentrum”, Robijnstraat 4, 2332 KE Leiden, the Netherlands, room B.
